I have a EXO 900 Flip which is a nice helmet, the other day I had just arrived at my doctors office and the flip-up button broke, for a few seconds (ok a min) I thought I was gonna have to wear it till someone helped my get it off.. lol, it tore my ears up but I got it off and used it for the rest of the day. I have a EXO 1000 at home I can use in the meantime. Anyways I figured I'd have to send it in for repair but after some confirmation they are sending me a new chin piece at no charge. Yea!!

I use a head sweat cover that covers the ears.

Putting the helmet on and taking it off is no longer painful to the ears....

yea,.. that doesn't help much. The 900 just wasn't made to go over your head in the closed position. 3x tighter squeeze than the exo 1000. Funny though, once they are on, the 1000 is definitely more snug than the 900. (both are size large)
