Important -Stock header & muffler fit fine... HV says I have the right muffler of theirs, but it will not align to the rear mounts??? The rear of it points to much toward the center of the bike instead of running down the left frame rail to the stock mount points in the rear. The bend in the collector seems to need to be 'unbent' some to allow the rear of the HV muffler to point correctly??
The VH muffler is stainless. Who in my area will fit this?
Local HD shop even steered me away when I ask them to put in cams. They say Buell pulled all their parts & manuels long ago so they don't want to work on a Buell(they steered me to Denver 70 miles away). Hell, it is a 2000 HD engine! Like I said, they don't seem to want to work on Buells at all.
I would like to get the muffler fit, cams in, easy pull clutch bracket in, new front seals. Where to go?

I am sure you've solved your problem by now, but if not, or for others who run into this issue - the V&H pipe does not use the rear Z bracket like the stock and most aftermarket units do.
That might be your issue. Maybe

No, I haven't fixed the issue. The muffler has tabs on it and I am trying to use the 2 hangers that use to come down to attach to the stock circle bracket on the stock muffler. The tabs on the new muffler are toward the cntr of the bike. the hangers from the engine miss the tabs on the muffler by about 3". the rear of the muffler points toward the cntr of the bike instead of running down the left side. the collector seems to be to bent. Seems to need to be opened up a bit to allow the muffler to run down the left and align up with the hangers. I'm lost!
