I switched my old barrel style key switch and installed a new sportster key switch with the flat key. After I installed it my engine would cut out at 4.5-5k rpm. I finally trace it to with the switch not secured to the bracket, it runs fine. With it secured to the bracket it cuts out. Has anyone had this problem? Could my new key switch be bad?
