Author Message   Henessey Posted on Sunday, April 10, 2011 - 09:59 pm:        I have a 2010 XB12Scg that has consistently gotten no better than 34 MPG. A HD dealer I trust has looked it over and found nothing unusual. It had a new fuel mapping loaded in March. My 2005 XB12R got at least 43 MPG. Has any one else had the same "problem" or found a solution (Erik Buell Racing ECM)? I was hoping the lightning would get a little better gas mileage than my 1125.   Mesozoic Posted on Friday, February 17, 2012 - 10:41 am:        A bit late, but again, I have no idea how Buell approved the stock tune in the ECM. My bike got similarly horrendous fuel economy until I started tuning it, which I understand is not something every owner wants to do.
