Need to replace crappy canister on 96 S1. Don't want to shell out $600-$700 for the upgrade. Has anyone customized the XB version to mount under the tuber? Is the geometry possible? I was thinking one could weld in block (box in material) with tip from old unit on open end of XB version. Material + $100 for used XB shock on ebay.
