I started up my bike today to go to school and subsequently when I came home and both times the lights on the tac/sped went out then came back when it started. This would have been for the most part normal had it not reset my clock to 1:00. I am thinking there is something wrong with the battery. Any pointers?

Dead battery and/or loose battery terminals.
