Howdy,
I'm a new Bueller and I just bought a '95 s2 thunderbolt (actually my first bike period). My brake lense rattled out, so I had to buy a whole new assembly from my local Harley shop. I just replaced the lens, and now its like I'm riding everywhere holding my brakes.

Is there a switch somewhere that went bad? If so, where is it and can I get that part from Harley?

Also, I could use a manual, If anyone could let me know where to get one, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Check to see that the taillight bulb itself is not inserted 180 degrees from normal. It's possible, really.

Make sure you haven't reversed the hot wires for the brake and tail lights.

If you have adjusted the handlebars/front brake lever position the front brake switch is probably not getting compressed...

The front brake light switch is held in the "off" position by being held into the switch-housing by the brake-lever mount (and connected barke-lever.)Slide the perch closer to the switch housing if its got a gap. Be careful to come at it from the side if you take it up. If you clamp the perch on without the switch being clear, you break it.
Manuals come up on ebay regularly. Someone had copies on disk as freebies. If noone else speaks up on that, I'll see what I can do.

Aaron,
PM me....

BTW, if it worked before your light fell off but not after you replaced it, I'll bet you have your wires reversed.

Shoot me a PM....

BTW, put this type stuff in the Old School section, that's where all the "Old School Tubers" hang out...

Oh crud. Just look at what filaments in the bulb are lighting up and you will know what wires may be crossed. If not, then maybe just squirt some silicone on the front and rear switches and work it in.
