Hey Guys.
have 2003 XB9S.
forks all apart.
(using ratchet method)
things going well. documented steps with camera.
all is well.
BUT
these forks have been apart so i dont trust one thing..
the seal spacer has a stamped edge. one rounded and one sharp.
manual does not address which side goes which way.
also looked over fork seal replace threads and found no joy.

they came out sharp edge towards seal and rounded edge toward bushing.

but to me the logical way would be rounded end toward the rubber seal and the sharp side to the metal which has a small lip.
any help?
was going to finish them up tomorrow.

nothing? lol
nevermind. i put the spacers in different form how they were installed.
i put rounded side toward seal and flat side toward teh small lip in fork .
seemed to have more support that way.
its working fine..
