Downloaded EcmSpy and installed the driver. When i have everything ready, with the ignition switch on and the run/stop button on run, i hit connect. It pulls up COM3 and when i hit ok it doesnt do anything. If i go to autodetect it will say "got COM port" but nothing happens. I dont get any readings on anything. Im stumped and not that computer savvy so please someone help me!!

It worked briefly, then in the middle of a TPS reset, it froze. The numbers were there but they didnt change when i turned the throttle, etc... I tried reconnecting and it wont do anything now(again). This is frustrating me to no end...

When you do a tps reset it does disconnect. The COM port might be stuck open, try restarting the computer.
