Author Message   Honolulu_blue_esq Posted on Friday, January 28, 2011 - 11:17 am:        Just got a 08Xb12r. It is cold here, and the bike is stored in an unheated garage. When I hit "start" there is a short (maybe 1 second) delay before it starts to *try* to turn over. Sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't - probably because it is so cold. Delay is commonly due to weak battery. Also there should be a start relay you could check if the battery turns out to be okay.
