So I'm at this stage:



I have removed the oil pump seen in the picture and I still can't remove the pinion gear on the crankshaft, even though I removed the nut. The manual says it should come right off but it's stuck on there good. What am I missing?

My 08 is different than you bike, but maybe you need to use a gear puller....
