Had a spot of bother when my rear cylinder's stock header pipe fractured right above the weld where it enters the collector.
This bike has the updated "inverted Y" muffler mount with a V&H cannister and I'm guessing that it fractured from both old age (20K miles) and the length of pipe that runs outside of the frame.
Does anyone have any recommendations, aside from careful assembly, before I bolt on a 2.5" race exhaust? Perhaps the rigid tab on the header should be rubber mounted?
Thanks in advance,
Steve Ford
