'98 S3 with Force race exhaust with baffle, forcewinder air intake. Bike slow to warm up at cold start and once warmed up smooths out but starts sputtering at 4000rpm. When I pull the choke out a little it seems to smooth out.

Is the motor running lean? I don't know what it has for jetting but it was re-jetted when the dealer installed the exhaust & forcewinder. All the receipt says is "45 slow jet". What would the proper jetting be? Do I have to put it on a dyno to get it right?

When is the last time the intake seals were replaced?
If it's more than 3 years, that's where I would start.

Just had the bad intake seals replaced at dealer.
