I've searched the appropriate areas but can't find anything on how to R&R rear brake pads on a '98 S3.
I have the Service manual but it doesn't explain anything on pad replacement.

Can anyone help me?

If I am remembering correctly you just remove the two caliper mounting bolts, pull the caliper off, and the pads should slip out.
