Got either a charging or battery problem.
After a overnight charge bike starts & runs fine, but after hour or two of riding the engine management light comes on at low revs.
Battery had less than 12v when got home.
Battery was tested & battery expert said it had good amperage but could still be feked.

get a multimeter on your battery when the bike is running above idle it should read between 13.5 vdc and 14.5vdc if its 12.whatever and below the charging system is at fault, if its in the acceptable range its the battery is bad
to check the charging system no engine running 1st disconnect the battery then disconnect the regulator rectifier unit the 2 wires coming out of the engine should have continuity across them and none to ground if this is the case the your regulator rectifier is probably bad |
