Didn't know if I should post here or in the XB section. I'm putting Mad Max back together, and noticed something. Are the fasteners that hold the rotor on supposed to have a flat washer on each side? I'm not talking about the square "washer" that goes on before the rotor, the fasteners I took off each have two flat round washers that went with them. I have an '03 manual and no mention of flat washers, look like they would interfere with the springs. My bike is an '05 so didn't know if they changed this, or if this is something the crazy PO did?? Trying to get this wheel back together, would appreciate any input...

Hogluvr, My parts book for the 05 bolt shows the screw, the thick sq. washer and (1) thin sq. washer.

Thanks for confirming Turbines, that's what I thought was supposed to be there. I'll toss the flat washers and put it back together the right way!
