There are many options, but remember, even the best is not perfect and your bike can still be stolen depending on how determined the thief is.

Get multiple types of locks. A disk lock will prevent someone from rolling the bike way, but the pros will have a van or a truck, so two strong men can easily lift a bike and take it away. This video demonstrates it:

Your next layer of defense is a chain. You wrap the chain around your rim then secure the other end around a pole or some other permanent fixture. This makes it so it can't be easily lifted away, but the pros have bolt cutters and torches, they can defeat this without much effort too.

Alarms/starter interlocks - Again these won't matter for the pros. The alarm will call unwanted attention to the criminal, but the pros will still quickly lift the bike and take off with it, and then bypass them later. Lojack also fits in this category, but it at least gives you a chance to track it before the criminals get too far and then disable it.

Really the best you can do is store it indoors if possible, out of sight. If you must keep it outside, use at least two locks to secure it to permanent fixtures. This will stop the typical crack-head, but unfortunately there isn't much you can do against a pro.

+1 What Froggy said. In addition to those positive methods, as a last resort, be sure you have theft insurance to cover worst case replacement costs.

Or buy a cheap van and park it inside that? jk
