My problem is that the carb is getting WAY to much gas through the main (170 stock) and the choke/top float doesn't seem to want to raise. If i prop it open it runs pretty well but still spraying fuel like crazy. This is a TX bike, no calif emisions. I have inspected main jet and it's all clear. Float also seem to be fine.

Please advise needed, weather is great and want my wife to ride tomorrow!!!

Maybe a bended float arm or a damaged float needle!?

check if you main needle receiver is upside down. The longer side sticks out in the venturi of the carb. The same thing happened to me on a blast 2003 after cleaning the carb.
