I have a friend's XB12R which is leaking oil from the fittings from the front of case, near oil filter, going to the oil cooler. Fitting was loose and was able to be turned 1 full revolution tighter.Manual says to lightly coat fitting with 20/50 oil which was done. Manual also says to coat Oil pressure sensor threads with locktite red.Is Teflon tape or teflon pipe dope acceptable as well ?

Locktite serves a different purpose than teflon. Locktite is to prevent backing out, teflon is for sealing.
