I am trying to get ecmspy to on my new laptop is is a T61 Lenovo think-pad running vista and version 1.78 of ecmspy every time I plug my ecmspy cable in it prompts me to install new diver. I follow the prompts to install drive ttl234 and windows tells me that it is unable to install driver HELP side note I copied all the files from my desk top I did the same thing with my old t 25 with no trouble but that laptop is dead now and I need assess to my ECM

I doubt you are running 1.78 of ECMSpy, the latest version is 1.12.27. I would suggest turning off user account control, uninstall and start over.

When you plug in the cable, and it starts looking for the driver, click the "search online" option, it will automatically download and install the correct driver.

You may have to be logged in as the administrator depending on your OS version. Just a thought if this is still an issue.
