Hey all! My '03 9S fuel pump makes a not normal noise when it primes after the bike has been sitting for a while (5-7 days). Its almost sounds like a weak battery but the starter turns over fine. Also I've noticed that this season the pump has been getting louder. Last year the pump would only be loud when low on fuel with a full tank it would be kinda quiet. Now its loud all the time. Plus I could never hear it when the bike was running and now I can. Am i gonna need a new pump soon?

When my pump quit on my 99 X1, I had no warning. It sounded fine when I first started a ride and then nothing. The pump I have now makes a strange noise, but only at prime.
