As I am sure most of you know the buell blast along with many other buell has a an exhasut under the engine facing the rear tire. well I am trying like hell to clean the rear wheel on mine and it will not come clean because of the smog output.Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Meguiars Wheel Cleaner (among others) and elbow grease? or Simple Green, a little water and a microfiber towel? Actually most of the commercial wheel cleaner products that are safe for the finish will work well. but if the dirt is pretty well embedded, then a soft wheel cleaning brush will help with the clean up immensely. The fact is there are a few Buell models that aim the exhaust effluent at the rear wheel and we all feel your pain, having been there & done that. |

50% solution of Simple Green - good to let it soak it off, but better not to let it dry on the bike. Also, the brush is useful on that rougher texture Blast rim, if the SG doesn't take care of it. |
