I have a 99 S3T with a shock that is leaking a little fluid. I purchased a shock on ebay to replace it....went to change it only to find out that the shock on my bike is 16.5" and the replacement shock is 14.7". Anyway to make the shorter shock work?? How??

Thought maybe there was an adapter out there or something.

Went to dealer only to find that the replacement is discontinued.

The listing stated it was a shock for my bike.

P/N K0407.01A1 is the shock mounting bracket you need. Check some of the sponsors here to see who has one.
