Greetings,
I want to get my M2 tank painted. The paint is bubbled all over and it peals off. I was wondering what is the best way to remove the paint. Someone suggested plastic bumper paint remover. Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I am by-no-means a prof painter. I just painted my tank for the first time this spring. So far so good. I used 150,400,800, and 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. This should give you a good surface to prime. Be careful when you get down to the primer, in some spots you may see areas where the primer appears thicker that others. I believe that this is filler used to fill the tiny pinholes that exist in the outer surface of the plastic tank. I sanded through some of those spots and ended up having to coat the tank with some plastic filler and then re-sand again, then fill and sand.... You get the picture.

Ok got gouges in the tank that need filling. Then sanding. What is the best plastic filler to use?
Newbie question...What is the easiest way to find my posts on Badweb? I keep typing BCP on the search feature to find them.
Any way easier?
Thanks!

I used a plastic filler that I found at an autoparts store (VIP). I can't remember the brand, but I wasn't looking for anything specific. Just make sure that its for plastic, that's all.

Anyone chime in if I'm missing any details.
