I have an XB12Ss and want to change the rider footpegs. How do I remove the spring-loaded footpegs? Any tricks to reinstalling them? Thanks.

No trick really. There's a retaining clip on the bottom of the peg pin. Just pull that clip off, pay attention to how the spring is in place and remove the peg pin.Pegs come right off. No problem. You'll get a better feel for it when you DIY. It took me about 5 minutes to do both pegs. Good Luck. Hope this helps.
