Hi All

May be someone can help me, I have a 2008 Buell 1125R. it has been running perfectly since I purchase it. Only last month I had an issue when I start it (it just finished 8000 KM), I hit the Start button but the engine do not run, after few attempts the engine starts. One week later I took it to the dealer, they upgraded the frameware but still the same issue continued, after that they changed the start plug, but again it did not fix the issue. It is clear for me they do not have any idea what is wrong with the bike and what they do is just keep in trying until they might find the cause of it!! I live in a very small country with not lost of motorcycles so the technicians do not have lots of experience in fixing motorcycles (they are good in changing oil though), especially the buells (they might know a bit about Harleys but that's it)

Has any one faced a similar issue before, it would save me a lot of time if I can just instruct them on what the issue might be. Beside I don't what my bike to be like test field for them. It has been in the garage for 3 weeks now!!!

Thanks for your help

look for loose cables both on the battery all the way up to the start button. it sounds like that might be the cause. It can be a little frustrating chasing down electrical gremlins. but keep at it I believe you will find something.
