I have an '04 XB12R, VERY noisy fuel pump, are all years the same part number or do all pumps fit ? They all look the same, just want to replace it before it quits. Thanks. | ||

They are not all the same. Some years there were internal changes and others had wiring connector changes. But with little modification you can fit a newer 07 unit on the bike, or rebuild it(new filters, fuel pump motor, and o-rings). Model years: 03-05 - same 06-07 - internal changes, fuel pressure regulator and hoses 08-09 - wiring connector changed 10 - internal changes,fuel pressure sensor changed |
