Hi folks,
one of my customers has just called me after the crankshaft on his 99 M2 cyclone just "broke" in his words. I need to source a replacement for him so I can rebuild it and get him back on the road but I don't have any Buell parts catalogues.
I am lead to believe that they used the sportster crankshaft so it would be really helpful if someone could give me the OEM part number for a replacement crankshaft.

He tells me "it is the one where you can split the shaft from the webb" if that throws more light on the matter

Thanks

Guns

The 1999 crank should be rebuildable, they didn't switch to the press together version together until 2000.
If memory serves, the crank pin, rod and bearings are the same as a sportster.

I need a crank for my 2000 M2, would it be wise to use the older version for future rebuilds? What about a S&S crank, my motor is 10.5 comp. with .536 cams and a 42 mikuni
