I pulled the cover off and i didnt pay any attention to the timing. I need help!   Devil_dog Posted on Monday, February 22, 2010 - 11:34 am:        Do you have a service manual? I'm not to sure, but I don't think there are any "timing" issues relating to the primary drive. As I recall when I pulled my primary drive cover (to rebuild my starter) the only real concern was getting the tension correct after I put the cover back on. I think the changeover was 2001 sometime, not sure when. Search the board here for pictures of before and after...
