Im always skeptical about oil and gas additives. But recently Ive started to use Lucas Oil Stabil in my high milage Dodge. Its taken the sowing machine sound away from the engine during startup and made the motor run more smoothly. Im curious to see If anyone has run this in there Buell. Not that my Cyclone runs poorly but I wounder if it could improve the performance of the engine.
Thanks,

Eric

its snake oil, no additives in it, just viscosity improvers. if you need a thicker oil run a thicker oil. their fuel additive is good stuff though.

i use the lucas synthetic oil stabilizer together with mobil 1 in all my buells. 2 qts mobil 1 and 1/2 qt lucas. the part# is 10130 and it is much thinner and easier to pour than the conventional stabilizer. i havent read any tests and couldnt prove or disprove anything, it's just what i like to run in my bikes.
