Downshifting from 5th to 4th gear is very hard and getting worse. Dealer had apart, thinking it was worn shift drum, found no wear.Put back together and it was OK for 5000 miles now its back??? Bike now has 32000 miles on it. Anyone out there that can help. P.S he works as a tech at a Honda/KTM shop, but we love our Buells!!   Froggy Posted on Thursday, November 19, 2009 - 07:46 pm:        The first and easiest thing to check is the primary chain adjustment. If its too loose or tight, it can cause shifting issues, but mainly in the low gears.
