I have checked the vault and am not sure that anyone has posted the same issue. I took my bike to a military MSF Sportbike Course and bike died in traffic riding the night before the course. It shut off and wouldn't start for a few minutes. Then it cranked and ran for a few miles, then shutoff again and repeat... Then I take it on the freeway and ran like a champ. The next day at the course I had a few issues but not as bad. It seems to happen when I close the throttle. Thinking it was bad gas, I poured some octane booster to clean it out. I took it to the track and ran like a champ again with no issues. This weekend doing some back roads the bike was running fine until we slowed down a bit. The bike shut off in traffic. I got the ECMSpy that day from a friend and got trouble code 24/25 ignition coil error. I guess my question is do I just replace the coil and hope all goes well? 05XB12R Race ECM K&N stock airbox Snorkel Removed D&D Exhaust |

Do you know how to retrieve error codes using the data connector and jumpering pins 1 and 2? It would be interesting if the error codes, if any, correlate to those you found with the spy program. |

So it happened again. I have the ECM spy and keep getting the error code 24/25 ignition coil. I replaced it after the first time and ran good for a while. Anybody else going through these things like tires???? |
