The shock on my 1999 Cyclone M2 was basically just a "Pogo Stick". The lack of rebound dampening was going to toss me in a ditch sooner or later.

The bike is used daily by me or my son to get to work so the bike couldn't be down. I didn't have the time to send the shock off and spending $500-$1000 for a shock to put on a $2000 motorcycle is insanity.

Lucky me! I located a Moto Suspension guy ( http://fealsuspension.com ) close to me here in Southern Ca. that could do the rebuild the same day ( call first to set this up) I mounted the shock back on the bike and my son took it for a short Bonzai and he came back grinning ear to ear....NO MORE POGO STICK !

One day fix, $168 for the rebuild, minimum down time and all smiles with the result.
