I've got to do my first oil change in my 02 M2 and figured I'd do my tranny as well. The bike only has 1300 miles on it but I'm not sure what the previous owner has used in it or if the factory fluids have ever been changed, plus I'm new to Buells.I'm going to the dealer this week to pick up oil, still debating on to run syn3 or dino 20w-50 in the engine side but as far as the tranny the manual I think states sport-trans fluid but I remember reading somewhere it was replaced with something else, maybe Formula. Is syn3 ok to run in the tranny side?

I run the same in the engine as the tranny.
