Hi All.

I have an 03 XB9R that doesn't want to start. Everything comes up on the cluster except the check engine light and there is no sound of the fuel pump priming up. When I press the starter the engine is choking but doesn't fire up. I tried to start it from the neutral and 1st gear, with the side stand in and out, same thing. The battery is new. The bike was standing outside un-ridden for about a week. Is it something electrical or is it the fuel pump itself? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.
