I have a stock 2003 xb9r, it is for my girlfriend and i need to lower it about 2 inches.I am an mmi graduate and the tech stuff is no problem. the front is no problem, but i can not find anything on the rear end. can anyone help?

Buell makes a lowering kit so you could get the rear shock with that method but I think that only nets you an inch. Switch out the rear tail section for an XBS type with the low seat is easily doable and there's usually people who'd be interested in a trade-shocks, forks, and tail section...Have fun.
