Author Message   Mac_inger Posted on Saturday, October 17, 2009 - 12:21 am:        Changing the voltage regulator on my 07 Firebolt (connection melted) and i dont have a crimping tool. Let alone the HD ones recommended in the manual. What kind of crimper should i get ? Any other advice from you who have done it before is appreciated. Was pretty easy. Did not use any dielectric grease since i wasn't sure (i forgot to buy it also and was itching to get the bike running). Bought two different kinds of cheap crimpers (all they had) and a good pair of thin nose pliers. Almost perfect crimp. Thank you all guys. Now i'm going for a ride and to buy some Buell paraphernalia at the HD dealership.
