I've got bar end mirrors on my XB12Ss, I'd like to mount some lights where the stock mirrors were. Mostly for daytime visibility, rather than lighting up the road at night, but both would be nice. Anybody done it? Any suggestions for me?

I havn't seen anything like that but it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Check your local laws first for the maximum legal height for lights.

At one time I was going to put extra lights on my hand guards but after checking the laws here in CA I discovered that they would give the law officers a valid reason to pull me over and ticket me.

Needless to say, I scratched that idea.

motorcyclelarry.com has some brackets he built for the Yamaha FJR, IIRC. The brackets let you keep the mirrors as they mount between the fairing and the mirrors.
