Depends on the model. There are a lot of different models and sellers on Ebay.

I bought a cheap ebay set for $17.00 shipped. Honestly the mirror set up and construction is pretty nice. However the expansion part in the handlebar is not very good. They use a 1/2" collar with a tapered nut that spreads out as you tighten it. Then they slide another collar over that one to obtain about a 3/4" diameter. When I crank them tight, there is very little contact surface in the handlebars. I can wiggle them a bit. Haven't tried them on the road yet. I better hurry, it's starting to get cold up here in MN.

I have Motrax bar end mirrors, and I love them. They look a lot like the CRG's, but are more in the range of $40/pair. Rock solid, small, cool-looking, easy to adjust.
Nothing but good to say about them.

My issue with bar end mirrors is that they tend to limit hand movement specially with heavier gloves in winter/fall. I went back to conventional mirrors.

Chowder, I bought some of the cheaper ebay bar end mirrors and it is like the other poster said, mirrors ok, but the spreader device will not tighten securely in the steel buell handlebar ends. Some have had success by wrapping some electrical tape on the insert first. I was lucky and had some left over adapters from another set that tightened up just fine and then used the cheap mirrors.

I went though about 2 or 3 sets between my DRZ and x1. The first set was all aluminum and was the cheapest on ebay. The bolts that tighten the mirror position were threaded into the aluminum. They were a POS.
The actual mirror rattled out (on the DRZ) the second day I had them.
The seller replace them. The first thing I did with the replacement set was loctite everything. The mirrors would always shift in the wind. The adjusters stripped right out when I tried to correct that.

I liked the functionality of the bar end mirrors and got the "foldable" ones. Their a little more expensive and have a plastic ball for adjustment. Much better.

I agree w/ the bad spreader. I've had them fall out on me several times. Electrical tape may help. I was thinking about using silicone to keep them in.

One issue could have been keeping a cover on my bike outside. They'd always need to be readjusted when I took the cover off.

I love them in my Stt and intend to test them on my CR when I pick it up Monday.

Had the cheapies which worked just fine.

Now I purchased the CRG Lanesplits that fold in which are even better

Both Bar end mirrors.. Eliminated the vibration for nice clear view to the rear.

I have these installed.

They do work well but the expandable mechanisms on the cheap mirrors can be a pain. Be sure to use Locktite on the threads of the allen screws.

I have a set like this I can sell for $20 shipped.

I was going to mount those mirrors on these LED bar end indicators which I need to sell too. It will take some engineering to get it to work but it does.
