I have a 08 1125r and i want to put a Jardine slip on on it. Im looking at getting the ecm spy with some additional software to tune it. Is this the right way to go or do i need to choose a different route? I have full access to a dyno

I used ecmread on my stock and EBR Race ECM last week. It reads and writes thru tunerpro great. I'm just too scared to adjust values so all I've done is lowered my closed throttle fuel at midrange by 10% to lessen the decel popping. Is this riskey even tho I only use this area of the map a few seconds at a time on a normal ride??
