I've been at it all morning and am no further ahead. I'm frustrated, pissed off and probably not reasoning very well. 2000 S3T with a snapped idle control cable. I have a new cable, it's now connected to the throttle body correctly, but I can't get both cables hooked to the throttle and get the two housing parts together. What am I missing? I've adjusted for as much free play as possible , but I just don't seem to be able to make it fit with both cables attached!!!!!
Please help before I blow a blood vessel in my head!( Or have to find a way to get it to the dealership and admit defeat!)

Almost one week later and I am even further behind the eight ball. If anyone out there can help me I would really appreciate it.
When I installed the idle control cable I noticed that the Throttle cable was badly frayed and had to order one of those as well. I managed to get both cables on but the cables are still too tight. To make matters worse, while turning the throttle grip against the stop, I snapped off the little "Tit" on the throttle housing that keeps the assembly from rotating on the bars.
Does anyone know if only the non - electrical half of the housing is available and if so would someone happen to have the part number?
Please help if you can. The end of the riding season is soon approaching and I'm out of the picture.
