I have a 08 1125r and my tps is not reading 100%. The best I can get out of it is about 75%. I pulled my outer airbox and filter and physically looked at the butterfly's and its noticeable that they are not opening all the way, so i pulled the rest of the air box and tried again ant they open all the way and it reads 100%. after resembling i checked the read out again and it was back to the 75% or so.

Any one out there experience the same thing or any ideas where the throttle cable is getting held up not letting me have full throttle?

Check the solenoid, aka the "noid"?

Meaning, remove it.

I have been thinking about de-noiding the bike just havent got around to getting the resistor yet.

Am I mistaken but if it was the solenoid stopping me from getting full throttle would it still not hold me back from full throttle with the air box off because i get 100% when the air box is off.

Also from what i interperit about the noid is that it activates at a certain RPM to close the throttle thus reducing noise so the bike can be as preformance orientated as possible and still pass noise polution laws. i dont see why that would hold me back when the solenoid is not activated. Can some one clarify this for me?

I don't know, just one possibility. You never know what might be the issue until you find it.

Last night I bought the resistor plug and de-noided the bike. either that was the case or i happened to fix the problem when i was reasembeling but my tps read out now reads 2.0 closed and 100.0 WFO. I am begining to think that i never had full throttle capibilities from new as I would have to try hard to lift the frount end more than a couple inches and when i was test riding after denoiding that in first gear around 4500 rpm that if i rock it i will have to be carefull not to loop the bike

I think that its time to see what i can do at the drag strip
