Due to a driveway tipover I'm now looking for new handlebars for my S1 (Don't worry, no other damage to report of, thank goodness). I've always wanted bars that were a little lower than stock so it's kind of a blessing. So I've been looking online and I'm not 100% sure what will fit on the bike. As I'm sure someone here will know the clamp area is a bit on the larger side. I've seen a set of Bikemaster european style that seem like they might fit and would give me the slightly lower position I'm looking for. Has anyone ever tried that type of bar and if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be open to listening. FYI, I don't want clip-ons, that's just to low for me.

You're right about the clamp being wide. I've got a set of stock bars off a Monster that are beautiful, heavy aluminum with a satin finish and just the right bend, but the center section is too narrow and they won't go on my S1.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I had a ride on an S1 with a set of stock Uly bars--higher and wider than stock S1 bars, but they really felt good.
