I just installed a new Drummer SS on my '09 SCG. It took about 30 minutes with help from my bro, (would have been 20 minutes without help, and I was not in a rush.)
No other mods 'cept the pipe, and the bike sounds and runs great! It had a flat spot off idle with the stock pipe, it doesnt now,after 100 miles, my front plug is light tan, and my engine is loving this setup.
