I had to rotate my engine and drop the tail to replace the dang fan on my new-to-me 2006 XB12X/R/Ss mutant. I thought I would be cute and wrap the headers at the same time but ended up breaking an exhaust stud on the front cylinder taking the headers off. Nut was frozen with rust and I didn't realize I was so strong I guess... that's what I told the wifey anyway. I should have been patient and used PB Blaster first when I saw the rust, but the weather's nice and how often does that happen up in the PNW?
Does anyone have a Jims Tool they're willing to loan out to a brother in need? It's sheared too close to the head to double nut or vice grips.
By the way, can I say that this forum is friggin awesome?!
