Any way to raise handlebars a couple inches on this? Any different model handlebars that will work? The stock ones make it uncomfortable to ride.

A bar for a Blast or S3T (they are the same part) should work. It has a rise of approx 6 inches I believe.

You can also buy risers instead of changing the bar. A few people have done it with good results.

I have used the Blast and S3T's but as I remember it it was about 2". Although a couple inches make a big difference in ergonomics and hand/back feels alot better for me. Good luck.

Thanks for all the replies.
Do you have to extend wiring and get longer throttle cables with the blast handlebars?

You will not have to extend anything. The wiring and cables will work just fine with the Blast or S3T bars on the M2 Cyclones. Just report back here on how you like (or dislike) the option.

Edit: I meant on the earier posting that the DIFFERENCE between the M2 and Blast/S3T bars is about 2".

I just installed Blast bars on my '00 Cyclone and didn't have to change any cables at all.

The P.O. had really low bars on the M2 and I didn't like laying on the tank.

The higher Blast bars made the ride a lot more comfy and I felt like I had more control of the bike.

Thanks for the replies and the blast handlebar tip. Just put a set on this a.m. and test drove it. Really put them just right. My back, wrist and shoulders sure appreciate it!
