Had an old battery 5yrs old and replaced o2 sensor code read from dealer, that seemed to solve the problem. The only consistency the engine was warm and went up a hill from a slow crawl. The engine was ether not firing the fuel or not getting to it. No check Engine light. Then it cleared up about 5 miles latter. Any clues

Can you please take a moment to clarify your problem/issue? I can't figure out what is wrong... something about an o2 sensor and the battery, and going slowly up a hill...

I had the problem about a month ago. I went on a trip to the mountians. The bike after the 1st day started to cut out on me. I replaced the battery after I relized it was 5yrs old. After about 50 miles the bike began to cut out missing and sputering. I went to a shop and they said it was the 02 sensor. I replaced that. The last 2 xs I road, it returned not a sever. after going up a hill on the way home.

Did you check the condition of the charging system. Are you running off of the battery and killing the charge?
