2004 XB12R. There's a sensor that bolts to the heads, and the wire runs real close to the TPS, so when I zeroed the TPS using ECMSpy, I forgot to replug the sensor on the head. It wouldn't start, so I plugged in that sensor and I think I fried something because everything was plugged up and turned on when I replugged it. Afterwards, I couldn't get the laptop to read the bike at all. What did I fry? The chip in the cable? The bike runs fine.

Did you turn on the monitoring again? When you turn the bike off and change things, the program will kick offline until you turn on the monitoring again.

If you are using ECMSpy. You have to reactivate the 'keys' icon.
