Author Message   Salbrechtnh Posted on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 - 05:25 pm:        I have a '05 Firebolt with 11,000 miles. About 3,000 miles ago I noticed that I would hear a clicking sound at the end of heavy breaking. My first step was to remove and clean the rotor. I installed all new hardware and springs. While the breaking improved, probably wishful thinking, I still heard the clicking. It sounds like 2 pieces of fiberglass rubbing. I have wiggled and pushed on everything up front. My bearings are good, but my rotor makes a click now and then.   Buellisticx1 Posted on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 - 07:20 pm:        I had exactly the same symptoms on my X1 and turned out be the steering head bearings worn This may not be your problem but it’s an idea....that's what fixed mine.
