how much if any of the trans parts between the sporty-buell trans & the xb type interchange ??

Hi,I bought a 2002 blast basket case.After assembling the transmission while on the bench it just dosn't shift right.the dogs engage and lock up.

Earlier than 2003 Buells have a cassette "Baker" transmission. AFAIK no parts will interchange: the XBs are all new. Lighter, helically cut and non-cassette. Working on the XB transmission requires an engine-case split.
